A model that used to fence. That definitely got my attention. The elegance of fencing combined with the beauty of a young model. So I met up with Lena on one of the last nice days in November to take some pictures in fencing gear. Unfortunately I underestimated how short the days had become, which met we didn’t have a lot of time. But we still got a few really nice photos. I love them because it’s real. A real model, a real fencer.
It all ended with a shot taken in my studio that is my hands-down favorite from the last few months. I love the subject, I love the light and above all, I love it because it took a lot of fiddling until everything was just how I’d imagined it.
